Is it possible to use Archer C2600 as a switch WITH working network/media server? I know (more or less) how to turn router into simple switch, but I need that working USB.

Also, if I use it as switch, is it possible to login to it (for management without complete reset) and how?

BTW... for some reason Archer C2600 (version 1.1 firmware as above) was not on the drop down menu, so I selected closest one.

Yes, you can modify the router settings to get what you want.

1. Configure a LAN IP so it is on the same segment of your main network. (Advanced > Network > LAN)

2. Disable the DHCP Server (Advanced > Network > DHCP Server)

3. Do not have any cables connected to the WAN/Internet, Ethernet cables will only be connected to the LAN port

You will still be able to log into the router using the IP you assigned to it.
