With respect to specifications they are the same, but difference in version can be because of different internal hardware (chipset) or even a different box.

Yes please. Whatever you can find it would be great. There are quite a few options to buy the adaptors out there, V1, V2 and V3, with quite a range in price between them. I think it is a huge difference if it is just a box change vs a chipset change. Right?

With respect to pricing or the reasoning, that is something we do not work with (Carl and myself).

For version 2 the interface was updated.

For version 3 the powerline adapters use 0.1 amps less then version 2 (0.6 amps > 0.5 amps.).

Realistly any version works so I would pick what ever makes sense to you.

Yes, all are compatible with each other.

One thing to note is that the powerline network speed will set according to the slowest AV adapter. So if you use a TL-PA2010 (AV200) with a TL-PA8010 (AV1200), the poweline network will run at AV200. If all your models are the same or in the same AV family then that will not happen.
