Invalid password issues with WiFi after firmware upgrade to 1.2.8 20190403 Dec M5 Hardware 1.0
After the firmware update to 20190403, some devices are unable to authenticate to Wifi with the "Invalid Password" error. However the password has not changed. After a few minutes it is able to connect with the same credentials. The phones were rebooted, wifi settings cleared and reset, the behaviour still comes back from time to time. Are we able to rollback the firmware or, get a new one to correct this issue?
Thanks

Customers that were on 1.2.8 had a beta firmware they could update to in order to resolve that. But if you still see that on 1.3.0, get back in touch with our support team at that point.

This issue seems to still exist on 1.3.0. Is anyone else still having the same problem?

@Bruno-P same issue here, Just install my deck M5 w/ firmware version 1.3.14 build 20191109 Rel. 66552. all my devices cannot connect to mesh w/ the password and its working w/ the guest wifi w/o the password. if I enable PW on guest wifi it won't connect as well. even on the phone that I use to setup the device if I forget the network and try to connect to the mesh wifi manually it won't connect. It will only connect when I reset the all 3 M5 deco and run the setup again.

@Tony It's been over a year since this thread was created. I bought my AC2600 less than 2 months ago and I'm still having this issue. I'm puzzled that this hasn't been fixed, especially since people have mentioned it started breaking after a certain firmware update. Hasn't TP-Link had plenty of time to accept warranty exchanges and investigate what's wrong with the faulty units and fix the issue?
For me, wi-fi was initially breaking once a day in the evening. Now it's happening multiple times a day, any time. This is an especially frustrating time for this to be happening, since so many of us are working from home and totally dependent on wi-fi.
Can you recommend a fix? I noticed the router settings have the option to upload a different firmware version -- is there an older firmware version I can download, from before this issue was introduced?
Thanks for you help.

@Bruno-P This company doesn't support special characters. Spoke to Support over chat they stated:
"Yes the deco supports that but usually smart device can't connect to Mesh with a special character password"
Special Character Passwords aren't supported.
