Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 20181227 Rel. 78313

I have a new Deco M5 installation in AP mode with ethernet backhaul that seems to be working well.

I have authorized IFTTT and when I try to create a new applet with a "When a Device Connects" rule, the applet configuration widget shows "Options Unavailable" on the Which Device? selection. Should IFTTT integration work when in AP mode? or does it require Router/NAT mode?

@MrPinky You are correct in that the Decos will need to be in router mode in order to configure an IFTTT applet for it.

Thanks for confirming. If there is any chance this can be added as a feature, I would love it as I am required to run in AP mode in my environment. The management app does seem to keep track of the devices being active/inactive, so that information is present at least. I would like to just get the ability to trigger actions when certain devices become active. Thanks for the consideration.

@MrPinky We can certainly pass it along as a feature request. Thanks again for your input, always appreciated.

@Tony Upvoting this recommendation. I have to run in AP mode, and that basically means I can't use IFTTT integration.
