The Kasa app does not allow the Kasa Cam KC120 to be added to a Scene. When creating a new Scene, the Kasa Cam is not available for selection. Currently, I'm forced to use third-party apps from IFTTT and Stringify to trigger camera activation.  It would be so much easier if I could set this up in the Kasa Cam's own app.  I understand a possible security concern around camera deactivation.  Perhaps Scene functionality for the Kasa Cam could be restricted to activation only.  Please consider this enhancement.  Thank you!

DJW,

Thanks for the suggestion.  This has been requested by other users as well and our development team is evalutaing the requests or possible future update.  There is no ETA but keep an eye on the app updates for new features and fixes.

Best Regards

Plus One for this request.

Even more I would like this to be exposed directly through Alexa.

I would like to leave home, switch off all the lights an activate the cam (KC200 in my case).

@djw HI,

I would also like to access the KC120 via my Smartthings app.  Why does kasa not support that ?  I had no problem adding the TP Link outlet plug
