Cannot Add 7th AV2000 Node to Existing Network
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :

Hi,
I have an existing Powerline network composed of 6 AV2000 Nodes. When I try to add a 7th AV2000 node using the tpPLC utility, the existing network is disrupted. At first, the new node appears to join the network based on what I see in the utility. Then the node connected to my Charter-suppled router drops off the network and I lose all internet access. When I try to add the 7th node by pairing with one of the other 6 nodes, the pairing appears to create a new network
It is almost as if the powerline network cannot handle more than 6 nodes.
To restore the network (minus the 7th node), I have to unplug all 6 nodes and plug them back in one at a time.
Any advice or suggestions on how to successfully add a 7th (and eventually an 8th) node to my existing network would be most welcome.
Thanks,
Bobby
