I have a 500 gig laptop hdd connected. Is it safe to leave connected 24/7 ? It does work ok, but new to this. Sure beats trying to get Windows 10 networking working !! The only problem is a Dell laptop, my other 3 machines work fine !

I have a C8 and my usb drive has been for connected to the C8 for several years without any issues. I use both a Windows 10 laptop and Apple OS machines to connect and share data.

How did you get Windows 10 to talk to the usb drive? I haven't been able to get it to work.
