Hardware Version : 1.1

Firmware Version :v1.1.0

ISP :

I have an Archer CR700 version 1.1 and I attempted to connect a WD 4TB My Book Desktop External HD. The device show up under the USB tab on the router admin page, but it shows 0 capacity and 0 free storage. When I try to access the media through the media link, the device cannot be read. Is there a fix for this problem? Thank you for your help.[h=1][/h]

Have you tried different USB port?
Try it with another USB port.

What's the format of the 4TB HD?
Does it work properly when you plug it into PC?

There's only two ports on the router. I tried both. The format is NTFS. It works perfectly with both of my laptops. It has only one partition and thought that a 4TB partition might be at the limits of the router.

Hey Mannmc14,

I may have figured it out. I was having the same issue as you. Turns out the drive was formatted as exfat. After I reformatted it to NTSF, then rebooted everything it showed up just fine. I'm able to access it from all my networked devices. Have you tried that? Reformatting it again that is. I have not tried to reformat the drive. Unfortunately I have stuff stored on the drive and reformatting would cause me to lose what's on the drive. My drive is already NTSF formatted. But thanks for the suggestion.
