I have an Archer CR700(US) Version 1.0 that I wish to connect to a VPN server.
Can this modem/router do that?
Firmware Version: v1.1.0 Build 20170314 Rel542320 Hardware Version: V1.1

It only supports VPN passthrough, which means it can't work as a VPN client.
If you dial up on your pc/laptop directly, it will allow to communicate with your VPN server.
