ArcherC1200 Connection Issues

Our ArcherC1200 worked great for the first few months that we had it. Within the past two weeks, we've been having issues with our internet connectivity. I contact my ISP and they believe the problem is with the router, not their service. The internet will periodically stop working. I'll open the Tether app, see the internet as red but then wait a few moments, and then the icon goes to yellow and everything works fine. This will last for maybe 30 minutes to an hour before the internet stops working again and I have to go through the entire process again. How do I fix this?
