Hello!

I've recently purchased the AC1900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router, Archer C9

I have been searching for a way to turn off the LED lights. I can't seem to find a "Night Mode", or an LED Control.

Is there no LED Control or Night Mode for the Archer C9? I have a repeater as well, which is the RE450, and it was very easy to turn off the LEDs. It was as simple as "Go to Settings > System Tools > LED Control. Select Night Mode".

If the hardware version of your router is version 5, there is LED control. It's not available for other versions.

How would I find out which version my C9 router is?

I purchased it about 3 months ago, if this information gives any incite.

Just look at the label on the back of your router, you will see Ver. 1, 2... or 5, that's the hardware version

Hi! Same problem with C9. I have V4. Can i install V5 firmware?

Low-tech solution.

Painter's tape or gaffer tape both can be cut to size to look neat, and can come back off easily and cleanly if someday you no longer want night mode (I'm serious. I do this on a couple devices at home).
