Hey,

So I'm trying to understand what T-link cpe I need for my situation.

2 houses, 100m apart, line of sight with nothing in the way. Rural area. Optus router at house 1, netgear mesh eax20 mesh extender used as an access point in house 2. We currently only have a 24mb internet connection but looking to change to 100mb. Originally was data cable underground but the tractor ate it while digging post holes. The only one I seem to be able to get close by is the

TP Link Outdoor 5GHz CPE 300Mbps CPE510

Will this work? Or should I really be getting 2.4ghz one instead? Is the 510 fine or should I be looking at cpe710 or other models? Any help would be appreciated.

  @Mat82

Yes, CPE510 is OK. And CPE510 has 100M Ethernet port, it can handle 100M bandwidth.

But CPE510 only supports 5G, it can not connect to 2.4G network to pair.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
