TL-R600VPN Wireless Router & AirPrint
Hello All,
NOTE: I had to select a model number in order to make this post. I do NOT have an Archer AX10! Apparently, my TL-R600VPN is too old to appear on the list. Anyway . . .
I have been successfully using my TL-R600VPN wireless router for years. I recently added a Canon MF654Cdw color laser printer to the wired LAN. All computers on the network can access the printer. I can even access the printer's status page and remote control UI from my iPhone 13 (I entered the printer's local IP address in Safari). The AirPrint function is enabled in the printer. The problem is that AirPrint isn't working - the printer doesn't show up when I search for AirPrint printers.
I was hoping that this was something that was just going to work, without me having to F with it.
What wireless router settings are required for AirPrint to function? Do I need to get a new wireless router?
Thanks!
Altazi

Hi @Altazi
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
It could be the problem with the mDNS. But you need to confirm this with the AirPrint, and Apple support(?). This router is no longer supported with firmware.
Omada product line, its inheritance, ER605 can do mDNS. If mDNS is not supported, local services are not found and accessed. That could be what you need.
But I think you should consult with the service support of your product to confirm if it is about mDNS misplace.

@ArcherC8 I have been over that manual several times. Everything appears to be set properly. AirPrint is enabled.
