Oh man, this is scary. I have the ER7206 V1 that is about two years old and it should be the right model. For the most part it bricked my router. The only wan port that works is the last LAN port now, and Omada does not reconise it. See the screenshots. NULL/NULL
Omada Software Controller version 5.14.20.9 with one sg3429MP and one er660HD. All of that is fine but the router is gone wayward.
The bad part is I tried to flash the old formware back in and it wont let me. I reset it and get it back up to work, but its divirced from omada at the time. I hope you guys get this fixed.

TL-ER7206 cannot be using this firmware. The official release is scheduled to be released in a day or two.
ER7206 manufactured in 2021 cannot use this firmware as well.
To proceed with the recovery, download the 1.2.0 firmware and start to roll the upgrade to 1.4.1.
Then download the latest 1.4.2, which I just updated.
We have located the reason that ER7206 earlier models in 2021 and TL-ER7206 are kind of different in software systems. Any ER7206 later manufactured are not affected by this.

@Clive_A I did that and it still shows that same weird firmware and NULL/NULL. However, I was able to get it to adopt into Omada and the controller set it straight. So I am good for now, but I need to get it actually fixed soon.

Can you log in to the web? Not from the controller. Forget and readopt it. But you have to make sure the standalone is normal before you adopt it.

@Tha_host Same. The wording was not clear at all, adn I see several people made this mistake. Oh well. I now know that TP-link has non recoverable routers and we will stop selling them and installing for our clients. We will just go back to doing it the old fashioned way. I have never not been able to bring a bricked router back.
The router is almost three years old and we have been looking at other brands because TP-link have been dragging their feet with the roll out of Multi Gigabit. 2.5 should be our go too now.
