  @Clive_A

Are you able to see by Application Statistics any timestamp / timelog, to determine when any application was started/streamed/used?

That is, what I mean what it should do.

If you read in a newspaper, that some accident was happen - its important to know when and where. Isnt it?

Currently I use a software controller with an ER605 V2
ER707-M2 and confirmed that the firmware is the latest, but the DPI blocking function is not in effect.

1. Certain signatures require an update of firmware. They has been changed by the companies so we need to update the signature identification. This does not mean the DPI or configuration guide is not correct.

2. For the models you have, you should check the latest beta to see if there is an update to address the known issues.

This problem is known to us and some models have a beta to address this issue because of the reason explained in 1.

Please start a new thread regarding the issue. Or contact the technical support team regarding the issue or beta firmware download.

Hi, Could I able to block applications in my ER7206 router running in standalone mode. The DPI and application filter options are visible in that router. I have configured but it wasn't blocking any applications. Please confirm me is that application filter feature is supported in standalone mode or not.

Im confused with this response. Clive_A, you mention that this page is not intended to look at the user level. But the instructions above shows a user page and it's displaying the traffic for a specific client. That would be very useful for me. Example, I see Waze is using a log of data on my network. I want to see what client it using that data. Is if my wife's phone? or is it my Home Assistant integration. Then I would know how to control it better.

If a feature is available, it is supposed to be effective regardless of the modes. I have not seen a single report on DPI yet.

If there is one, that could be the database is not updated and the application has changed something on their end. Possibly servers, domains, IPs or their signatures.

We do not maintain the database. The DPI feature is based on a third-party partner who provides the database.

Wait for the update if the rule is ineffective for some applications.

Don't understand what you mean.

In Users, you can view the clients in your network and their traffic categories.
