ER605 V2 firmware update to 2.1.0 is work not correctly
ATENTIONE:
Today an update version 2.1.0 was released for the ER605 V2, which can be installed directly via the controller.
PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE
The update put my ER605 V2 in an endless loop disconnected-adoption-configuration-connected-disconnected.
When connected, all WAN + LAN ports are shown as disabled and the WAN connections as dropped.
Even after hours and through several hardware resets, this behavior does not change.
I can use the internet only with my replacement devise ER605 V2 with the old firmware version 2.0.1, now.

Ok, then I will also set up an Omada Controller 5.7 for Linux in my test environment.
So far I use the OC200 controller and an Omada controller on Windows.
Thanks for your information.

Seems to be lots of issue with 2.1.0. After upgrading, IPV6 no longer worked, all my port forwarding no longer worked and my Omada controller would just loop around trying to adopt my ER605. What it did do was connect to the internet and hand out DHCP reservations correctly. I could see why some may think its actually working when it's not.
Anyhow - Back to 2.0.1 and its all good again.

I had no issues updating the ER605 to the 2.1 firmware. I have a OC200 as well and a EAP610. Went smoothly for me.
I had an issue with the OC200 updating to the 5.7.6 Omada firmware where IP Blocking didnt work with Ports vs Subnetse etc. So it had a bug and I was told more basic IP blocking would be implemented. When I rolled the firmware back it broke it, factory reset it and none of my backups restored my gettings and mass client naming/data etc.
So I'm on the OC200 Omada 5.5.7 myself as it seems to work OK. I'll make another post about my winge with the Omada stuff in the proper location.
In relation to the ER605 firmware, I've been waiting for it to be added to their website so I can see their change log! Anyone know whats been changed????
Does it have QoS now not just "bandwidth control" and anything else? ..... One of my MAJOR ISSUES with the ER605 is when you add a port forward it DROPS all connections! My kids scream at me, I have to wait until NOBODY is using the net otherwise it disconnects them from their game if I add a port forward or a new ACL rule etc....
No other router seems to do that.... Just the ER605. I've already contacted TPLink about this.
I'll create seperate posts for the ER605 and OC200 my list of issues but the 2.1 firmware worked fine for me, I just wanna see the change log.

Dear @Phuripat and other community members,
The support team has noticed this issue, and I have released the Solution Post in here.
If you are still having issue after referring to this Solution post and troubleshooting, or if your WAN Connection Type is not PPPOE and still have the same issues with the latest firmware, the engineer may need to collect some detailed information exactly when the issue occurs to figure out the issue.
If you are willing to try further troubleshooting with our engineer via email directly, please feel free to let me know and I'd help to escalate your case.
Best Regards!

Thanks for the solution Hank. When should we expect this to be fixed so we can upgrade the firmware to 2.1.0? Any information on when Omada SDN 5.8.4 for Linux will be available?
Thanks
