ER605v2 Disconnect from controller regulary
ER605v2 regularly disconnects from controller, do you know if there are any plans to fix this or is it something you have to live with on these routers?
fix is to turn off the power on the router.

Yes - go for latest BETA software for ER605 v2 which you can find here:
https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/599910
Connect/Disconnect issues should be resolved.
But please read the changelog yourself.

Hi, same Problem here. After about 30days the Router is disconnected from controller. Strange thing is, that i than can log in into the standalone gui of the router. After rebooting the router via its own gui, it is connected back to the controller.
Greetings

My router disconnects from the controller quite often, many times several times a week, but everything works except that the router is disconnected from the controller.
router is connected to a tl-sg2428p and so is the controller so there are no communication problems, I have also tried and connect the controller directly to the router,
But now I have ordered an ER8411 so I hope this one is better. it may be that the ER605 is undersized and simply cannot do what it is supposed to. I do not know.
I also have some remote networks that run on same controller with ER605 v1, to be safe I have set these to restart twice a week, I haven't had too many problems with these. but it is a network without a lot of traffic. there is also no VPN or other fancy stuff configured on these routers.

I have not tested an unmanaged switch, I have VLAN and must have a managed switch connected to the router.
As for the ER8411, I'm not very optimistic, I'm not going to accept any problems with this, then I'll send it back in the return period. but I hope TP-Link has spent a little more time on the quality and stability of the router since it is in a higher segment. but i have ER7206 ER605v1,v2 all have been problematic, so we'll see

Dear @shberge, @nutzich, @btx,
My router disconnects from the controller quite often, many times several times a week, but everything works except that the router is disconnected from the controller.
Could you please help to check the ER605 device statistics and the controller Running Log information?
How did the statistics of the ER605 v2 look like during last week or last two weeks?
Was the log flooded with any errors before or during the issue occurred?

I moved the controller to a Windows PC to see if this could help and I haven't had any problems after this so I don't have any logs.
The controller ran on an ubuntu server previously.
I move the controller the day after I posted this post. but I'll look at the log when I run into this again.
I have also seen that there are several people on the forum with the same problem so this should not be unknown to TP-Link.
Here is some of them.

I have several sites with ER7206 ER605v1, ER605v2 which are connected to the controller from the internet (WAN on router), these do not have this problem, i.e. remote site. it seems that this only applies when the controller is connected locally on the LAN on Router.

Hi,
my Router is ER605v1 Firmware 1.2.1
I notice (as other users mentioned in other threads) that RAM and CPU increases for a few days and than holds the level. After about 30 days my router gets disconnected for short periods and than disconnects finally.
When my router is disconnected from controller there are no further logs before. But router then works "normal" like in standalone mode without controller. Internetconnection is not disconnected in mey case. When error occurs the next time, i make an additional screenshot of the strange behavior of the cpu-usage in the router gui, which i can login when problem occurs.
Here the screenshot of the controller stats. The low levels are after reboot. The fluctuations in the diagrams are very large and don't correlate to the real usage. Real Usage of clients is always on the same level. You can see really good the gaps of the disconnected times before reboot.

to me it sounds like the router is being reset to deafult again, when you log on to the router it is then in stand-alone mode and you have to readopt router? you log in and have to change your password etc.
