EAP225-Outdoor with EAP265HD?
I have 3 EAP225-Outdoor devices connected to a OC300 (1 via Cat5, 2 wireless) which are working fine. Trying to add the EAP265HD to the mesh and it is never discovered. If I make the 265 the Main access point, it works by itself but the 225's are never discovered. Are these not compatible with each other?

Is the newly added AP updated to the newest firmware?
Have you tried to adopt it, update it, disconnect it, and launch it remotely?
Also - are you sure you have enough signal where the newly ap is located? (where you want it to sit)

@KimcheeGUN All units are brand new so have not checked the firmware.
Will try the adopt, update.... now.
Plenty of signal, as I am setting them all up in the same room to start.
Thanks for the quick response!

that is strange. did you wait for some time? i remember that root eap is doing periodic scanning? will it show up eventually? it should be less than 5 minutes for it to scan. it shows up real quick if they are installed. can you make sure one is not connected by Ethernet?

@Tedd404 All EAPs have been on for about 20 hours. The 3 225's are now functioning properly in the Mesh, the 265 never shows up as an available device in Omada Cloud Controller. The 265 is in the same room as the wired 225 as well as the OC300. It is as if the 265's wireless portion isn't functioning, except my phone can see both bands as available connections, so that rules that issue out.

@btx thanks for the info. I've reset all EAPs to use 5Ghz, channel 149 and disabled 2.4Ghz. However, the EAP265HD still is not appearing.

how many 225-od occurs the same issue after 5.0.9?
your problem does not seem to be common.
better post a picture of the devices list and channel of these outdoor. they're mesh. you should be know that eu allows dfs. if you prefer dfs, then stop using mesh. mesh+dfs is not stable at all and that's not firmware defect.

@Tedd404 first, I am in the USA.
All 3 225-outdoor are on channel 149 with firmware 5.07 (up to date according to Firmware Upgrade)
OC300 with 1 internet and 1 225-od connection
2 225-od on each side of house wireless connection
1 265-hd on channel 149 which is not 'seen' by any of the 225-od's and is close enough to at least 2 of them This also reports the firmware is up to date.
I have no idea what dfs is. The setup I am using was recommended to me as being a decent way to have access on most of my property (plan to get more EAPs later).
