HI TP LINK
I HAVE AN ENTIRE SET OF OMADA DEVICES NAMELY:
- 5 EAPS 225
- 1 EAP 110 OUTDOOR
- 2 EAPS 110 CEILING MOUNT
- 1 ROUTER ER605
- 1 SWITCH TPLINK NON OMADA COMPATIBLE (TL-SG105PE)
I USE GUEST NETWORK TO OFFER FULL OMADA HOTSPOT TO CLIENT....
THE PROBLEM IS, DESPITE THE FACT THAT GUEST NETWORK IS ENABLED, CLIENTS CONNECTED CAN STOP OR REDUCE EACH OTHER BANDWIDTH ON THE NETWORK USING SOFTWARES AS " SELFISHNET, NETCUT OR EVEN EVILLIMITER ".....
I NEED HELP PLEASE, ANY CONFIGURATION I CAN DO IN ORDER TO STOP IT? I REALLY NEED HELP AS PEOPLE ARE PURPOSELY RUINING MY BUSINESS BY BLOCKING MY CLIENTS.... PLEASE HELP

I 100% agree with you. I myself have used Tik for a long time as well as Cisco.
For the price point, Omada is a good fit. If you want more features, Tik is the way to go. I was saying good luck with the gui because its in left field compared to Omada/UBNT. It's def a learning curve. I feel like RouterOS is really close to EdgeOS and or JuniperOS. If they're comfortable with those CLI's, then go for Tik.
I think the features this user is wanting, Omada cant provide right out of the box.

@btx exactly, i charge clients for internet access.... well i understand mikrotik is my only option.... its really not what i wanted but i definitely do not have choice... thanks for your help.

The guest network option is supposed to block all clients from seeing each other as well as all the other local networks/clients.
Could the reason for this not working be that your using a non Omada compatible switch between the AP's and the router?

no i dont think so... it just doesn't work that way anymore.... i got tplin switch tl_sg2008P and it was still the same thing....
