EAP235-WALL Too Many Association Timeouts
EAP235-WALL Too Many Association Timeouts
Hello, I have a problem with multiple EAP235-WALL's in a hotel room scenario (7 of them) 6 of these within 10 meters of distance. All of them especially the one that's not around the others give a ton of association time out failures and more than 60% dropped rate. TP-LINK support can't really find the issue and I need a fix asap. Every time I go to check the connection with my phone I connect immediately no problem but when clients connect I get many association time outs although no one is complaining (yet). I read something about a chipset counting problem but I can't find the article again. Thanks

@KimcheeGUN I have one AP in each room signal is perfect and always < -70 db I have the rssi threshold to -85 for all AP's as outdoor ones start multiple disconnects if I put them to -75

@btx I think the problem will be solved if I create multiple ssids but for a hotel scenario where multiple people that know nothing about wifi will be hard to explain which band to use 🤷🏻♂️

-75 is pretty low signal. Thats where you start having wireless issues.
-85 is holding on by a thread.
Im guessing, once you set it to -75, that kicks you into having dead spots. You may need more aps in this area?
I usually do wireless site surveys and put my next AP at -73/-75 on the 2.4ghz band.

@KimcheeGUN -75 is too low for outside AP's but for a 200m² building with 6 wall AP's it's fine
