TL-SG3428 and TL-SG2428P Not Discovered/Configured by Omada Controller (v4.4.8)
Hi TP-Link Community,
I have TP Link network equipment running my network, most of it works, but I have two issues with two different switches.
I am running the software version of the Omada Controller version 4.4.8.
I have 2x EAP245, 1x EAP225-Outdoor and a TL-SG2008P that are all discovered and managed correctly.
All hardware and the software Omada Controller are on the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet and are in the same broadcast domain.
Issue #1
I have a TL-SG3428 v2 (2.0.3 Build 20210409 Rel.52950, red in topology diagram) that my Omada Controller is not able to discover. I have tried manually configuring the inform URL via the switch management GUI, the DHCP option and the Discovery Utility (both v4.x and v5.x). Each of these methods seems to correctly set the inform URL and with Wireshark I can see that the switch is broadcasting to port 29810, but the Omada Controller never responds. With the same packet capture I can see the Omada Controller responding to the other devices.
The TL-SG3428 is a “core” switch that connects to my router and that all of my other TP-Link networking products, listed above, connect to. I can configure and use the TL-SG3428 via its web UI, but the Omada Controller never replies to the broadcast packets.
What can I do to get this device discovered by the Omada Controller?
Issue #2
I have a TL-SG2428P (1.1.2 Build 20210806 Rel.55686, yellow in topology diagram) and adoption succeeds, but while CONFIGURING the devices times out (see logs below) and remains in a DISCONNECTED state.
What can I do to get this device to remain controlled by the Omada Controller?

Any help getting my TP Link network devices to work with the Omada Controller is greatly appreciated!
