The size of this thing is freaking huge!!!!! I maybe able to reduce the number of APs currently in use with this monstrous beast! I mean it is literally the width size between a small to medium Pizza. They are a little bit larger than the Unifi HD APs for those who know Unifi.

Will be testing this unit out today after I get off work and will update this post with how easy it was to get Omada to manage the AP and the actual performance of the AP

But again Its HUGE!

Anyone curious where I purchased here in the states - Amazon has them and they are 199.99 per unit : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08PW34WPX?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image

So anyone paying greater than $200.00 in the US needs to shop around...

@dbmet

Right now I am looking for a good heat mapping tool for the wifi since TP-Link removed the ability to see heat maps in the new Omada SDN - Previous version of Omada SDN you could see some type of heat mapping that would give you a decent starting point.

As for speeds - I have fiber 1g/1g and with this AP on multiple devices I never drop below 500mb down and never below 650mb up - not too shabby vs the 245 ap I had up which I was only getting around 250/480 mbs so definitely a decent size improvement!

It was easy to setup just as all the other APs , plug in, wait , and adopt ... Done.

@Reconboy

My second EAP660 showed up Sunday. I have one in the living room and another at the far end of a ranch style house. So far so good. I have 1gig cable service and speeds are wonderful anywhere you are in the house.

Nice!  $199 is a good price.  It's already dropped from ~$268 or so.

Hoping to see it drop closer to $150-160 before I pull the trigger.  Also waiting for a few firmware revisions.

It would be nice to get 500-700 Mbit/sec speeds over my FIOS Gigabit.

Unfortunately, it sounds like I'd have to move the ceiling mount I have for my EAP245V3 -- it's likely too close to the wall to support the larger size of the EAP660.
