@Marc_NL yes you can use the router in Omada but that's it, you cannot assign the profiles created to the switch. Your entire system can work but you cannot configure the whole combination thru Omada. You can setup the router in Omada and then setup the switch via its GUI but the overall method to achieve what you need will be different. You can set the router interfaces in Omada then you will have to move in the switch GUI and set the relative ports according the method offered by that platform, probably will be slightly more complicated but for sure possible

@Xstreem That is correct.

But I can be happy when I can assign the profiles on the ports of the router itself for starters, but they seem to be missing too.

@Marc_NL on the router's ports you assign an interface for the LAN/VLAN associated not a profile, profile is something you can apply on switch ports on Omada, as soon as your switch is not supported the Omada profiles for you are not usable

Dear @Marc_NL,

For example: it is possible to assign a different IP-range to a VLAN? VLAN 110: 192.168.110.0/24, VLAN 120: 192.168.120.0/24, etc. When I make IP-groups of the VLANs I can set any IP-mask I want, but where can I set the specific DHCP for the devices connecting on the port of the VLAN

The TL-R605 router in standalone mode can only assign one DHCP IP range at present.

New firmware will be released on R605 by the end of May 2021. After upgrading the R605, you will be able to create different VLANs and assign different IP subnets for the LAN ports on the R605 in standalone mode (without using Omada Controller).

Please pay attention to the TP-Link official website for the new firmware update:

Why can't I see the Easy Smart Switches on DHCP clients list on the R605???

And how can I configure this router in standalone mode in a way that devices on the ports of the switches (with MTU VLAN is set up) can't see each other via the router but they can reach the internet?

It worked on T470T+ easily.

By checking the firmware downloads for the R605 there is no firmware released after March.

Do you have any update for this?

I too need this functionality.

@Marc_NL

An update with the missing features were released on 28th of May but a few days later has been removed for unknown reason.

Most likely it was faulty.

I can only recommend you to wait patiently, I believe that it will be released eventually, in the near future.

I also hope that the coming update will make the R605 work as well as the R470T+ does.

The inter-vlan problem is really annoying, I can't use the router until it works correctly, letting the connected switches isolate their vlans.

@Marc_NL

I just saw it on this forum, they released a fixed beta update instead:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/266026

This beta firmware can be downloaded directly from this link:

https://static.tp-link.com/beta/2021/202106/20210601/ER605(UN)_V1_1.1.0_20210531.zip

I wrote my impressions about this update on another thread:
