OC200 Poe not working? a defect or something?
Hi,
I've been powering my OC200 thru its mini usb port and I just got my POE router and another EAP225-outdoor.
I've connected my EAP225-outdoor to my POE router and they are working fine. But the OC200 is not powering up. I tried to use the POE of the EAP225 to power my OC200 and still can't get it to power. I've been troubleshooting it but with no avail. I tried searching the internet if ever it needs to be enabled but non and found out that there are people who have the same problem and they are just using the mini usb port. Is this a defect? or are there any simple solution that can solve this? other than using a mini usb power.
Warranty is a hassle and I'm far for the city and very inconvince to wait for the replacement or something.
Regards,
JJG

Sorry for bumping this old thread but I do have the same issue. And I just want to make sure before purchasing if the device's POE can power up OC200.
Does the product TP Link TL-SG1005LP can power up OC200?
I have 3 POE device at home and 2 of them including OC200 don't work with passive POE, so I have to make sure if TL-SG1005LP can power up OC200. Coz if it can, then it's possible it's also able to power up the other one.
Thanks.

Yes it can power up OC200.
Just need to check the specification of the switch, it's 802.3 af/at compliant.
https://www.tp-link.com/en/business-networking/poe-switch/tl-sg1005lp/#specifications
Then it can power up the OC200 since it supports standard PoE(not passive PoE).
