Guest SSID? I don’t see settings EAP245/OC200
I see a heading for Guests under clients (users, blocked, connected, guests) but cannot find where you set up guest configs on either AP or controller.

Hi,
Do you mean the Guest Network function of EAP245v3? With this option enabled, guest network will block clients from reaching any private IP subnet.
You can refer to the UG of EAP at page 17: https://static.tp-link.com/2018/201812/20181229/1910012495-Omada%20Access%20Points_UG.pdf

Thanks, sounds like what I’m looking for, but the link isn’t connecting. Will see if I can find the doc.

OK- looks like the OC200 does not have the settings for Guest portal- you have to go to EAP245 directly. This ought to be in the controller.

And if AP is managed by controller, you can’t access it in stand-alone mode to ever get to the portal settings. Why are their no per-SSID portal settings available in the OC200 controller?

Hi,
We have upgrade the SSID Isolation function to Guest Network function in EAP, but the Controller does not change the name of it. (It is still named SSID Isolation). We will change the name of Controller in the Controller 3.1.4, it will be published in these days.
For now, you can enable the SSID Isolation in Controller, it will be Guest Network function ,if your EAP firmware support Guest network function.

Coming back to this- I just don’t see even the Isolation option in the controller- this is all that’s available for SSID

Hi,
What's the version of your APP? Now we can see guest network in the Omada APP with the version 2.1.4 or above, but it needs the Omada Controller version 3.1.4, which will be released in the next few days. You can refer to the following photo.

Ah. The AP is 2.1.0. Thanks, now it makes sense.
