Guest WiFi from an Access Point connected to a Switch

I need to create an isolated Guest WiFi but I am a little confused by my options.

Currently, I have EE Home Hub Router that provides WiFi and ethernet ports.  I have an TP Link SL1311MP unmanaged switch that is connected to the router by ethernet cable.  The SL1311MP then has 3 EA245 Access Points that provide WiFi to the perimeter of the property.

What I want to do is add a 4th Access Point to the SL1311MP to provide guest WiFi.  What I want to avoid is the guests having any access to the wireless and wired items on my home network.

Can I simply add another Access Point and configure it somehow?  Do I need new hardware?  Is it even possible?  What are my options?  Thanks.

Hi  @Little_Old_Me

If you only want a guest network, the current device is sufficient. The EAP itself supports this feature, and there's no need to purchase an additional device. The EAP can simultaneously broadcast a guest network.

Below is the config guide:

You can make any SSID on any TP-Link access point "guest mode" which isolates it from all other IPs on that lan.  It can only access itself and the internet.

Its generally pretty secure, but there isnt much more you can do without a router that supports VLANs and a managed switch you can apply some ACLs on.

Main: ER8411 x1, SG3428X x1, SG3452 x1, SG2428LP x1, SG3210 x1, SG2218P x1, SG2008P x1, ES205G x2, EAP650 x6 Remotes: ER605 v2 x3, SG2008P x2, EAP650 x2 VPN Server: ER7206 v2 Controller: OC300

@GRL Thank you for the reply.

If I understand correctly, to fully secure the local network I need a new router (the Home Hub does not support VLAN) and change the switch to a managed switch.

I can look through the the website and find a router that supports VLAN.   What do I need to look for in managed switch?  Will they all do what I need and what ACL's do I have to read up on?

Thanks again.
