2 controllers - 1 network

Hello.
I am a new Omada user and I have been wondering about one thing for a long time, hence my question.
Can TWO controllers work at the same time in ONE home network?
I am currently using OC200, but in case of some unforeseen failure I would like to have the possibility of continuous network management. And I came up with the idea that on my "old" Wyse terminal - which is currently lying around and collecting dust - I could install a cloud controller and have a "case-by-case" reserve that will work all the time in the background and which I will use if necessary.

Yes, we can do that. And this is the new feature of our latest controller version. You may have a look on the following post:

@Vincent-TP Fantastic news! So now one more question - my OC200 has version 5.15.8.12, and my test SDN has version 5.15.20.18. To configure Hot-Standby Backup Mode, do both controllers have to have the same version dot by dot and digit by digit? That is, can I connect them in Hot-Standby Backup Mode now, or should I wait until OC200 gets a higher version?

Hi @Ronczkos
OC200 won't add this feature, only OC300 and OC400. And it's not released for hardware controller yet.
