We've had the ER707-M2 as our primary gateway to 2.5G LAN connection for a while with no problems, noticed very high latency to the WAN traced it to ER707-M2 very slow UI showed 99% CPU normal Memory. hw version 1.0 firmware v1.2.3. Normal operation restored after power cycle.

Hi @JamesLu

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

If this behaves again, please let me know.

As it disappeared after your reboot, it could be anything. Maybe bad firmware, config, or your bandwidth is taken and it causes the heavy forward which eventually leads to CPU surges.

I cannot judge or see what might be wrong with this information so far.

@Clive_A Is there a way to get the log after power cycle?

Hi @JamesLu

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Unless you set the syslog function.

Without the syslog function or controller, the log on the router, standalone mode, is stored on the RAM and will be cleared once it is rebooted.
