Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

The new "Firmware" feature built into the Controller is nice, especially the ability to keep local copies of firmwares uploaded on premises for easy access to install later (or revert to earlier versions). However, the controller will notify me of new firmware updates well before I can download those files from my local TP-Link support site. There is even Release Notes available within the controller, that I can't find on a local support website.
The controller knows these firmware files exists and lets me install it, but I can't download them myself manually. I would love the ability to just click a button from the Controller interface that downloads the firmware file from the Cloud and stores it in the "Upload Firmware for Upgrade" section.

Hello, thank you for posting on the TP-Link community, and we certainly appreciate all your feedback and feature requests here. While we don't have any specific details that I can share around if the feature can come to all the Omada controllers, or when it might, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.
Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.
