ER707-M2 IPv6 Support Question
Thursday

I might be interested in the ER707-M2, but I can't find the important specs for me. They al link to IPv6.

  • WAN: is DHCPv6 PD supported, and can it be redistributed with a self-chosen subnet ID on the LAN ports?
  • LAN: can it be used as stateful (based on the delegated prefix) / stateless DHCPv6 server, including custom options? and including stable prefix based privacy addressing and Dynamic DNS update
  • RA (WAN/LAN): wat about RA control: can we suppress the sending of RA's on the WAN port, or even some LAN ports?
  • RA (LAN): can we configure these: RDNSS, DNSSL, PREF64?
  • RA (LAN) are VPN prefixes automatically included in the RA? Can they be included? can they be selectively excluded?
  • RA (LAN) can I configure custom prefixes
  • RA (LAN): do I have full M/O/A/L bit control
  • Of course of of this parallel with IPv4 and DHCPv4 (with support for option 108)
  • Stateful filtering IPv4 & IPv6

The only thing I don't have now is support for DNSSL and PREF64, and that's why I'm on the lookout for an upgrade, but if I want something that i planned for a newer device, I have some time left. If not all of the above are availble, I'm not in the market.

Of course if another model supports this, I could be searching for that model instead.

And optionally is there an TP-Link omada  NAT64 routing functionality anywhere (could be separate machine) (and optionally DNS64 proxy)

1. Yes.

2.

3. IPv6 ACL is supported. Some other control settings are not v6 supported.

Recommend you try the emulator of the controller and the router.
