I also did the below on the Switch but i still see its as a client. Please help! I need to block/shutdown these ports when the times is reached for the kids to go to bed. Hi @Hein0703

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

The model is not adapted to the ER7212PC controller version I believe.

Go to the router firmware upgrade page and review its compatibility on the models.

A new release which might be helpful for certain users:

ER7212PC V1 1.3.0 Build 20250117 Pre-Release Firmware (Released on Jan 23rd, 2025)

From the release note I received from the dev, there is no mentioning about the adapting to the ES series switch.

Based on the user feedback, it has adapted to the ES series models. Good news for everyone who's looking into this.

@Hein0703 issue is incoming mostly as in my thread https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/720022

Looking deeper seems that current firmware for ER7212PC is based on Omada SDN Controller v5.14.0 and ES205G support was added into Omada SDN Controller_V5.14.20 (https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/663452?replyId=1346486).

I have the same problem. I bought an ES205PG switch and I can't adopt it to the ER7212PC router. When is the new firmware planned to support the ES205PG switch for the ER7212PC router? Thank you.

Is the TL-SG2008P adopted or is only the TL-SG2008 without the P?

SG models are the first adapted models to Omada. They should be adopted smoothly

This pre release update: 1. Update the controller version to 5.14.34. what is solving problem with adopting ES205G. I bumped a firmware level to prerelease and then it was required to enable Easy managed switches type on Site Settings and I was able to adopt my switch. The only thing to mention about adoption is that you must go into device details during adoption (dont just click adopt from whole list of devices) because it was required to specify a username and password in my case. Thank you Clive for support

@DawidR I have successfully adopted the ES205PG switch with the new firmware. The "Easy Smart Switch" support must be enabled via the mobile app. I couldn't find it via the web interface. Thank you very much for your help.
