We have a 200mbps commerical fiber connection and we are trying to connect 5 laptops and a wifi router.  The location is remote and we don't have an abundance of support, many of us are not from a networking background but know enough to be dangerous.  We are trying to figure out what piece of equipment (switch / router or both) we need to complete the service connection and get us operational.  The fiber is terminated to an LC connector, we have an LC-LC cable and a SFP module ready to go.  We have a single IP and we are looking for a DHCP server capability to support 8 devices.  Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi @Non-networker

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Consider the ER7206 which supports a single 1Gbps SFP.

Suitable for a small-middle-size business. Recommended for 100-200 people size. Should be overkill for your network.

I would recommend ER7412 because of faster VPN rather than ER7206 or ER605v2 (if you want something cheap) + some EAP for WiFi - EAP225 or EAP650 + OC200 or use your own server (NAS with docker, etc.).
