Omada SDN was always problematic with 2FA access, but since the last update to the iOS app (version 4.18.28) that happened 2 days ago, it has become unfeasible.

 

Now, every time I need to open my Controller on the app, it asks me for the 2FA code. To make matters worse, Apple Passwords doesn't even recognize the number field as a 2FA field, so I need to manually retrieve the code for each access. Super boring.

 

This didn’t use to happen before, at least when using Local access.

 

I hope TP-Link fixes this and considers adding Passkey/FIDO in future versions.

I just updated the Omada APP to the latest version (4.18.28). The 2FA login works perfectly on my iPhone 13.

If the issue persists, you may try reinstall the APP, and reinstall.
