Model: CPE210
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Can I connect a security camera directly to the lan port on a client side CPE210 power supply?

The camera has it's own poe power supply so I would connect the lan ports together.  Or is a switch required?

I recently patched into a Ubiquiti dish on a work site and it allowed direct lan plug in without a switch.

Needing to add a switch to an outside installation would be unfortunate.

  @captainwoody

Do you install two CPEs?The client side CPE adapter cannot be used to power your security camera; but, if you connect the camera to the LAN port, it will give internet access.

I tested it.  A cpe210 AP to a cpe210 Client was able to run a Lorex camera (using it's own poe) without a switch.  Great.
