Model: EAP650
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3

I have a issue with my access point, connections to devices seem to drop out periodically, for instance my home surveillance cameras will notify me that they have lost connection, and then reconnect after a minute of two. Does this with different devices too so cant be the individual devices issue. Help?!

  @Lostnzder

In addition to surveillance cameras, are there regular client drop-outs?What is the frequency of drop-out? Surveillance cameras typically link to a 2.4G network, which is easily affected by interference. So the network would be unstable.This is a ceiling mount device; in order for it to function correctly, it must be installed on the ceiling so that its signal can be disseminated more effectively. Normally, the signal is foucs beneath the device, and the signal broadcast is like "/\".So, you should position the surveillance cameras to get optimum coverage of the device.Furthermore, you can optimize the network by changing the wireless network's channel and width.

Here is an article you can use as a reference:How to optimize wireless performance of EAP products
