Model: CPE710
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hello I'm planning to buy a CPE710 to use it at a range of about 350 meters and there is nothing between these two spots. And I'm wondering how many latency it would cause in those cases. I tried to find something about it on internet but I found nothing.

Hi @MuazHamzaL,

Wireless network expansion in real life there must be loss, and the distance, the angle between the CPE installation and the quality of the Ethernet cable, and so on have a relationship. For example, if the total bandwidth on the AP CPE side is 1Gbps, then the speed obtained on the Client AP side maximum will be not more than 500Mbps.

As for some basic knowledge of wireless network, you may take some time to look through here.

Firstly thank you for respond. Do you know how many ping would It cause in ideal conditions? For instance under conditions like the distance is roughly 300 meters and the system is setted up perfectly and weather and other conditions are either perfect. Does it effect the ping with amount of 5-10ms or hundreds?

Before purchasing the CPE710, it's great that you're seeking insights here. For a range of 350 meters with no obstructions, latency should be minimal. However, factors like interference and  Photo network congestion could still play a role. Others' experiences with similar setups could provide valuable insights.
