Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.1.0

what I would like:

management / eaps to be on vlan 10

pfsense box (running dhcp etc)>3rd party L2 managed switch>2 EAPs on Omada   SSD guest vlan 20, SSD home vlan 30

I had this working a few years ago on an older version of Omada and a Netgear gs108t but having difficulties with current version of Omada...

I've got vlans setup in Wired Networks>LAN and tied to the EAP, EAP connected to trunk port on switch but not able to get client IP

Is there a guide somewhere?  Something I need to do with LAN config?  I am unable to make changes in the Profile tab - only option at the bottom is Back.

Was not connected to correct port on switch angry

However, I am still a bit confused as to how the LAN configuration needs to be setup in this application.

Right now I've got the LAN pointing to gateway on managment vlan

Thanks

  @sadpanda

If you have a 3rd party switch and you are setting up EAPs under Omada Controller, forget about the wired network settings in the controller. They do not apply to your switch. You only need to configure the EAPs and the wireless network in the controller.

  @sadpanda Here's the User Guide of Omada Cotroller: https://static.tp-link.com/upload/manual/2023/202306/20230609/1910013343_Omada%20SDN%20Controller_User%20Guide_REV5.9.0.pdf

To be honest, I didn't get you. Can you describe it more specifically?

  @sadpanda I'm not using tplink switch/router, just the EAPs

In this application, what is the correct way to setup Settings>Wired Networks>LAN?  Is it even used/necessary?  It cannot be deleted thats why I'm asking.
