Model: ER605 (TL-R605) Ā
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.4

Hi All,

I would like to adopt my gateway to the Omada software controller.

The software runs on 21.x, while the management VLAN ( default VLAN ) runs on 178.x.

My question is: How can I archieve this? The VLAN's being created by the omada software controller.

Will it work to adopt the gateway to a temporary software controller which when configured & running via the temp controller will migrate the gateway to the main-software controller?

Ive already tried the options:

Controller hostname/IPname;

Auto refresh IP enabled;

and Device management enabled pointing to the main-software controller IP address.

Those 3 options did not solve the issue, the controller stays attached to 178.102.

Would love to hear from you guys,

Many thanks!

Hi @Naldjer

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Your question should be answered in the User Guide of the controller.

All scenarios of the adoption are mentioned in the User Guide.

And doing this via Management VLAN also got an FAQ: How to configure Management VLAN in Omada SDN Controller (4.4.4 or above)
