Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0

Kinda like my previous thread.

I want to know how to make windows discover all the devices from the multiple vlans. Do I need to setup a local DNS or can the ER 7206 handle the DNS?

my setup is quite simple my router ER 7206 is connected directly to my NAS and computer for now. I've used the omada software controller to set 3 vlans (exclunding the default network for admin), one for my NAS, one for lab and one for wifi (not yet connected).

network is setup like this:

Main network xxx.xxx.10.1/24 DNS 1.1.1.2 / 1.1.1.1 Vlan ID 10

Services net  xxx.xxx.25.1/24 DNS 1.1.1.3 / 1.1.1.2 Vlan ID 25 Port Lan1

Lab network xxx.xxx.30.1/24 DNS 1.1.1.2 / 1.1.1.1 Vlan ID 30 Port Lan2

WiFi net  xxx.xxx.35.1/24 DNS 1.1.1.3 / 1.1.1.2 Vlan ID 35 Port wan/lan2

my Nas is in Services network and i can connect directly to it from win explorer and browser.

  @Setlec

enable mDNS on the router?

But devices that search across vlans can get hairy.  I have Wi-Fi VLAN and for my Wi-Fi remote to work with my TVs, it had to be on the same VLAN.  The "search" / "scan" feature doesn't work across vlans.
