Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.0.8

Latest firmware for EAP225-Outdoor V1 (5.0.9) is again not available to the canadian version of the AP.

 

This different firmwares situation between US and CA is so aggravating. I know this is about DFS regulation in Canada, but there is other way to deal with this than creating whole different firmware branches.

This morning, EAP225-Outdoor(US)_V3_5.1.0 Build 20220926 appears on support website, no new canadian version...

Hi Hank, any news on this issue? It looks like they added 5.1.0 since but this is the US firmware so it can't be flashed on the canadian EAP (I tried it).

Thank you for your valuable feedback! After confirming with the support engineer team, it is said that the CA firmware is currently in development. However, it will require some time before it is available. In the meantime, we recommend keeping an eye on the official website for updates.


Are you in urgent need of the CA firmware? If so, I could help you apply for a Beta firmware specifically for the CA version, which can serve as a temporary solution.
