"Gateway Required"
Hi,
I installed my new brand router in my network. I also have 2 EAP245, 1 TL-SG2218 v1.0, and 1 OC200. I manage all of them using the cloud controller.
The problem I'm having is that some settings show me the message "Gateway Required".
What can I do to fix this problem? I read some articles in the support area that there is a setting to enable a "gateway mode", but there is no such setting in the WAN settings.
Thanks in advance for all your support and help.
Kindly regards,
Juan.

Hello @MozDigger ,
May I know if you adopt the ER7206 and shows "Connected" on the controller?
You may refer to this FAQ: How to add an Omada Gateway to the network?
If ER7206 shows connected, you can go to Wired Networks---Internet to set the WAN information.
If there is no Gateway info on the Dashboard, you may click on Edit to type in the bandwidth manually.

Hello @Hank21,
Thank you for your reply.
The following screenshot shows the status of the adopted devices on my network:
I edited the bandwidth manually and reboot the router but it is still showing the message "Gateway Required" in the WAN configuration as the screenshot below shown.
What can I do?
Thank you in advance for all your support and help.
Kindly regards,
Juan.

Hi @MozDigger ,
Did it influence the actual usage of your network or ER7206?
From my knowledge, it is just a note, it will emerge when your mouse moves on the "i" Icon.
This is our lab controller showing as your reference:

Hi guys. Has anyone come up with a solution for this yet?
For me the ER7206 is adopted and connected and the WAN is connected via PPPOE but on the dashboard is shows that there is no gateway utilization and no internet capacity. When I do a manual speed test it just says failed. DNS is defined by the ISP and I even tried the public Google one and still not able to perform a speed test. Devices connected the the network can browse with no issues whatsoever. Some screenshots below. Using the OC200 controller.

This is not normal.
Have you tried to forget ER7206 within controller, reboot controller, and re-adopt ER7206?
Forgetting ER7206 means it will go to a factory reset mode so that you can start from scratch with it...
PS: Ypu can also try brand-new BETA software for your OC200:

Strangest thing. I trolled the internet and someone suggested adding the ISP widget to the dashboard. And boom! I could manually add the line speed and the gateway usage showed. Very weird but it worked.
I still can't run a manual speed test though. Runs for a few seconds then just fails without proper error description. That's one to solve for another day.

This is indeed weird.
Nevertheless I would go for latest (also BETA) software on both your ER7206 and Controller.
1.3.0 for ER7206
BETA https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/605278 for Controllers
And then see if that helps to resolve your issues.

I will give the beta for the OC200 a try. The gateway is already on the latest version.
