Static IP Block Configuration Omada
Hello,
Complete noob to Omada (and managed switches) so apologies in advance.
I am using the OC200 with the ER7206 v1.0 and the TL-SG2210MP v4.04 - I have a static IP assigned to me via pppoe XX.87.252.126 and a block
xx.87.229.120\29 routed by my ISP to my static xx.87.252.126
Connected to port 2 of the TL-SG2210MP I have a server configured with the following static IP info:
IP: xx.87.229.121
Netmask: 255.255.255.248
Gateway: xx.87.251.126
DNS 1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1
The default network for DHCP is set 192.168.100.0\24
I have created a new LAN on a new VLAN using xx.87.229.120\29 without DHCP and even tried with DHCP and set my server to use DHCP instead of its static -- no matter what I do the server does not get an IP address - under clients the IP remains blank no matter what I do ... rebooting everything has no effect. If the server is set to DHCP and kept in the 192.168.100.0\24 range all is fine.
Any advice/direction would be most welcome ! I am certain I am missing something very basic - everything else with the Omada setup has worked like a charm :)
Edit: Server is now receiving its xx.87.229.121 IP but has no connectivity .. getting closer anyways /
Regards.
