Sorry for any trouble caused!
I haven't been informed of the ETA of the new firmware for OC200 yet, will try to push the R&D team to release the firmware shortly.
If you need any further assistance with the TP-Link products, please feel free to start a thread on the community or submit a ticket email to our technical support team from here.

I don't think its coming and here is why.
There was a post on Reddit the last week and I wish I had saved it now because it was removed. It was from tp-link themselves stating that they were sorry for the delay, BUUUUT... added this. They were experiencing issues with the oc200 and 5.84, and it might be some time as they optimize the new version for the 200.
So take that for what it's worth. I install these for a living and I see something else happening right now.
1. As of a week ago my distributor (the place where we buy our client gear) is no longer receiving OC200 OR OC300 controllers and they could not order more,
2. Much of the wording on the website is pushing you to the "Cloud" controller they are pushing now. Notice how this forum is now "Cloud SDN" only now. No designation between Hardware, software, and cloud anymore.
3. Being a vendor, we have a direct phone number we call when we have issues in the field. Last week one of my techs was dealing with an issue on a new install, and the support person pushed him into the cloud solution and said the OC200 was not correct for the job. I then saw the cost for said cloud controller. HOOOOLY MOLY!!!!
4. I run a software controller (Ubuntu 22.04.2) for the business network for our company and it's at v5.9.9 and no longer interfaces with my sites that have oc200 and oc300 controllers. That surprised me.
So.. I think these hardware controllers are going aware and I am not surprised. The new controller versions are very feature rich and use more processing power on our Linux machine. I just think the hardware had reached EOL and they think it's more cost-effective to just put it all in the cloud.
I hope this is not the case and I am just being paranoid but something is afoot. LOL. We will have to find another solution if they force software or cloud only controllers. The cloud is enterprise expensive.

Very interesting..., on the back of this I've decided to retire my OC200 and use the linux controller (v5.9.9) instead.
Simple enough install and migration, now have full tunnel OpenVPN capability at last. Time will tell if its stable, but looks good so far...

@Tescophil Did you migrate using the same version (oc200 > linux) or migrated from the older oc200 firmware to the latest linux?

Even if we wanted to - here in Germany we can't even buy Cloud Controller licenses, they're simply not available and trial licenses have expired months ago.
TP-Link sales also not reacting on purchase enquiries.
