Upgraded firmware on my ER605 router - Safari unsupported?
I upgraded my ER605 router from its default firmware, V 2.0.0 to the newest 2.1.1. When i attempt to log into the router interface, it tells me my browser is unsupported now and to use another one. it was supported just fine on V 2.0.0. Any reason why or is there something like browser cache i need to reset.

That's too bad...works for me with Firefox, Chrome, and another Chrome based browser. Try opening a "Private Window/Tab", or whatever it's called in Safari, and see if that works.
Edit:...no problem, and glad it's working.

if you are using windows, then you are not using Safari as a browser. My unsupported browser issue seems to be the fact that it is Safari on a Mac. Did TP Link drop the support for safari browsers on Mac computers as a supported browser to access the routers log in?
I will try messing with my cache. It seems to work just fine on my iPhone using Safari.

No kidding...Safari isn't on Windows, which is why I stated I was on Windows...but, we also use browsers.
I got the same message about the browser being not supported, and clearing saved sessions like cache, cookies etc. fixed it for me. So, how about giving that a try first?

i deleted browser cache. the log in page appears but when i tye in the credentials, i get the message saying its unsupported and either update it or use a different browser.
edit: OK strange I had to delete the website data and cache for the IP address like six times over and over again before it finally worked but it seems like the login is working now. I appreciate your assistance even if the tone of my message didn't seem nice at first. For the record I had no intention of sounding that way so my apologies.
