This controller haven't any AP adopted before

It seems that you don't have available licenses to add the device. For management and configurations on the Omada Cloud-Based Controller, each device should be bound with an activated license. You can login the Omada Cloud website with your TP-Link ID account, and purchase licenses for your Omada devices.

Hello @Everyone,  I encountered the same error, only fix is to add your newly purchased license to your controller in https://omada.tplinkcloud.com/#licenseManagement. You can adopt the EAP without issue once you add the license.

Dear @SysopChris,

Are you using software controller or hardware controller OC200/OC300, what's the version of your controller?

How many Omada devices are adopted by the controller before you adopt the two devices?

If possible, could you please upload a image of the error "Too many preconfigured devices....'?

I am tryiong top configure the EAP 610 outdoor as a main AP (connected to my rooter) and the EAP225 outdoor as a mesh (wireless) but I cannot have them connected and working.

When I try to add the EAP 610 clicking on add devices on the omada website typing manually the S/N, the following message appears:

Could you please provide some help?

Thanks a lot.

@RVCD I had similar issue. all you need to do first is check if you have assign your licence to the controller which you created ( am assuming a cloud controller). Then after try to add the device to the controller.

Note: you might have bought the licence but you have not assign it to controller.

@Fae It seems we are crazy! We are still using their products after such negligence, I boycott you from today. How many companies are there who don't have to pay a license fee to run the device. And we license agree for license fee, Even if you want to pay, you have to face such problems.😡😡😡😡😡
