Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3

I am trying to setup a second WAN connection on my gateway. I want the second WAN located on WAN/LAN1 to have a static IP because I am receiving this connection via a Bridge connection. I will will sele3ct Static IP from the Connection Type menu and then enter in the IP Address /and Subnet Mask and click on Apply. AT this point I get the message Succeed and the screen refreshes. This results in the Connection Type going back to Dynamic IP. What am I missing, I used to have this setup on previous controller firmware.

I just updated to the latest controller firmware (5.8.4) and still experiencing the same results. Please advise if there is something else I should be doing.

It did not happen to me. Make sure you choose the WAN/LAN1 option on the page.

I'm using ER605

  @Somnus

Thank you for checking the er605. I'm choosing the correct WAN page, I even tried it on the main WAN page and it's doing the same thing. I'll see if there's a way to post a short screen recording.

I was able to screen record while remoted into the computer from my phone to show the behavior I'm experiencing. However I don't seem to be able to upload it. I'm not able to change the Mac address from detail to custom either. Anything I change on the wan or wan/lan1 page revert back after clicking apply even though it says it was successful. Anyone have any insight into why this is happening or how I can upload the short recording?

I feel like it's the web browser issue...

What will happen if you login the controller vie omada cloud website?

Try clean the web browser cache and use incognito mode.

  @Somnus

So... It was a me problem. I was clicking on the Apply button at the top of the page. This apply button is only for which port(s) will be used for WAN the apply button at the bottom of the page is for the rest of the settings. When making changes below the top apply button but selecting the top apply button those changes get reverted.
