I have done my best trying to decipher the comments posted on this forum. My best understanding is that, for ER605 V1, the latest firmware (1.2.0 and 1.2.1) has serious DHCP problems. The beta release (1.2.2) has other problems, apparently including CPU utilization, in addition to recurring DHCP problems under certain circumstances. The older 1.1.1 release does not pass the ShieldsUp Stealth test (potential security risk). In addition, a minor issue for 1.1.1, the UI can't be accessed reliably unless an Incognito/InPrivate session is used.

For ER605 V2, the latest firmware release (2.0.1) also does not pass the ShieldsUp Stealth test. It's unclear to me whether the four-month-old ER605(UN)_v2_2.0.2_20220727 Beta firmware works reliably.

Is there a solution for users in a home environment (with IOT devices) who want reliable DHCP service and a passing grade for the ShieldsUp Stealth test?
