Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.01

A warm hello to you.

Would anyone bring me on the right way, please:

Starlinks Dishy is direct connected after POE to the ER605. I'm not able to get the "Starlinks Statistic page" trough the WAN Port... -I tried bridge (may be not right..??) ... and Firewall exeption... No succes.. On the phone app no problem. I am not a network guy ... would be great if someone out there, would give me a helping hand.

Internet is working fine, switch over in fail... is the next thing... I am not sure... but one after the other...

Thank you

Stefan

  @J.S.S

No one any hint/idea about that subject?

The Starlink Statistic page has the following IP: 192.168.100.1

The LAN / WAN Starlink IP is: 100.113.139.110

Subnet Mask 255.192.0.0

Gateway: 100.64.0.1

Thx Stefan

  @J.S.S

Is the Starlink modem/router connected to the WAN port of the ER605?

What is the IP address and the subnet mask of the ER605 on its LAN side?

Are there any static routes defined on the ER605 for its LAN side?

  @KJK

Hello Kris,

thx for your answer, hope you can understand my answers, further questions welcome.

"Is the Starlink modem/router connected to the WAN port of the ER605?"

NO - The Dishy is direct - after POE - connected to the WAN Port of the ER605. - SL Router is out - not connected - and POE is Powered on DC

"What is the IP address and the subnet mask of the ER605 on its LAN side?"

ER605 has the fixed IP 192.168.10.20/24  - DHCP is Off - DHCP is at 192.168.10.15/24

"Are there any static routes defined on the ER605 for its LAN side?"

I tried many different possibilities about a bridge, most of them failed and I need to reset the ER605.

There is one other Bridge installed what leads to the Mikotik Metal WLAN AP (WAN1/LAN)

LAN Port from ER605 is connected to a 8port switch.

Thx a lot and hope you know where is my mistake...

Stefan

  @J.S.S

I understand that you have one and the same subnet on the WAN and LAN sides of the ER605. Both 192.168.10.20/24 and 192.168.10.15/24 belong to the same 192.168.10.0/24 subnet. This is not correct. They need to belong to different subnets. If you use different numbers after 192.168. in the IP addresses, they will belong to different subnets. I guess, Starlink wants you to use 192.168.10.20/24 on the WAN side so you need to change 192.168.10.15/24 to something like, for example, 192.168.20.15/24 and use it as the gateway address for all your LAN devices.

  @KJK

Hey Kris...

may be I did not decribe it correct / unterstandable .... so next try:

ER605 fixed IP:192.168.10.20/24

WAN: gets dynamic IP and Subnet from Starlink (IP:100.113.139.110 Subnet: 255.192.0.0)

WAN1/Lan: Mikrotik AP IP: 192.168.2.1/24

LAN: 8port Switch connect to WLAN Router / DHCP - IP: 192.168.10.15/24

Not working Bridge is right now:

Destination IP:  192.168.100.1

Subnet:             255.255.255.255

Next Hop:         0.0.0.0

Ineterface:        WAN

Metric:              0

All is working fine just the damned Statistic page (192.168.100.1).....is not showing up in the LAN

Hope now is more light in the tunnel.. :-)

  @J.S.S

Start debugging!

Disconnect ER605 from all devices and reset it to the factory defaults. Connect its WAN port to Starlink. Connect your PC to its LAN port. Make sure the PC is set to obtain an IP address by DHCP. If it has WiFi, disable it. Now, try to access http://192.168.100.1/. If you do not see the page, there is something in Starlink itself that prevents it and, I'm affraid, you need to seek help somewhere else. If you see the page, configure ER605 step by step. After each significant step, check if you still can access the page. If you can't, go back and try to figure out what you are doing wrong.
