Hello, just bought an eap225 to use as stand alone ap. I am unable to connect to it, any attempt to connect via Wi-Fi or ethernet via poe adapter results in the 4 second green light blink, and no connection. Have tried solutions found in earlier threads, but no luck. Factory reset, isolated connection, fixed ip on laptop for ethernet, omada app, multiple cables, every suggested home ip, tplinkeap.net..same result.

What can i be missing?

A simple and probably a bit silly question, did you connect the EAP to the router's LAN port?
If it is connected, the cable may not be recognised or the port may be bad, so check and do the comparison test.

If your phone is connected to the EAP's WiFi and doesn't get an IP address or is 169.254.X.X, it's a problem with the physical connection.
