HowTo: Omada Port Security MAC-ID based?
Hi,
I do have an Outdoor Access-Point connected to my switch.
All configured with Omada Controller.
How can I secure my switch port in that way, that 'only' the Outdoor Access-Point MAC-ID is allowed to connect to that switch port?
Didn't find a way or any explanation within manuals.
Hope to get some help.
Thx.

For the use of outdoor AP this feature is mandatory. Otherwise its a real security concern anybody could plug in and enter the network.

It is now possible to configure Port Security by CLI (beta) feature.
But there are only two options to configure the result:
- drop: drop packages when exceeding max-mac-count
- forward: forward packages anyways
Which means, after plugging in into a port the intruder cannot communicate, but then is able to clone the MAC of the device and plug in again.
There should be an option to shutdown the port after LOS or exceeding max-mac-count.
